Lawton defeated Putnam City West 57-55 Tuesday night in overtime. Rondel Walker led all scorers with 27 points while Marty Perry and Ashawnti Hunter combined for 33. The players below, including the three aforementioned, had the most impressive performances.

Rondel Walker | 2020 SG | Putnam City West

Walker displayed one of his best scoring nights Tuesday, essentially removing himself from the Wolverines' grip while showcasing one of the most diverse offensive arsenals in the state. Walker's 27-point performance included notable pit-stops as well, including a go-ahead shot from the short corner from the hip to assume a one-point lead in the final minute of regulation; he also sank pivotal free throws in extra innings to keep the Patriots' hopes alive.

Ashawnti Hunter | 2020 PF | Lawton

Hunter's 16-point showing may have been the ultimate tipping point for West's defense; the 6-foot-8 inch post was more than a difficult task. His explosive and lengthy play extended beyond what the Patriots could handle on the inside. His lanky figure and extensive wingspan will surely benefit him as he improves to the next level.

Marty Perry | 2021 PG
