Now we begin our dissection of the class of 2022 with the point guards that have elevated their stock the most in our most recent update.  Here are our Point Guard and Combo Guard Stock Risers!

 

Justin King (Mascoutah)

Current Ranking: #23
Previous Ranking: #33

King was the top young prospect in the house this fall at the Pure Sweat Fall Combine.  Really like the upside with this long and rangy 6’1” point guard who will grow several more inches before his college days.  Slippery through traffic with the ball weaving through the defense in both transition and the half court.  Best basketball is ahead of him.

 

 

Damari Wheeler-Thomas (Larkin)

Wheeler-Thomas broke out in our eyes at the Proviso West Holiday Tournament.  At 5’11” the point guard made consistent trips to the foul line where he knocked down his shots from the charity stripe.  Solid perimeter shooter drilling a pair early in the contest.  Used his speed in transition and flashed some athleticism.  Pesky on ball defender that put pressure
