Upper State
#4 Chesnee vs #1 Seneca
The Wolves will be home in the opener and really like to pile up the points with EJ Evett and Jared Rogers. The Eagles will counter with K’Jymie Valentine.
#3 Camden HS vs #2 Woodruff HS
Trajon PateThe bulldogs go on the road with Trajon Pate and Kasean Crews. Dyon Bartley will lead the Wolverines in this playoff opener.
#4 Liberty HS vs #1 Chapman HS
Paul MitchellPaul Mitchell, Banks Atkins and Kelijah Anderson will make sure Chapman HS gets through this opening round game.
#3 Newberry HS vs #2 Indian Land HS
Wingate (NC) signee Destin Clark has piled up some numbers this season for Indian Land HS.
#4 Chester HS vs #1 Union County HS
Ladarius JeffriesLadarius Jeffries has Union County HS playing at home in the opener. Naqaua Kershaw, and Timothy Salter form a nice front line for the Yellow Jackets.
#3 Broome HS vs #2 Powdersville HS
Draylan Burton averaged over 35 ppg this season for Powdersville HS. Kidd Brizek will look to contribute.
#4 Mid-Carolina HS vs #1 Keenan HS
Jazian GortmanThe Raiders will try for a another state championship this season. Raekwon Horton, Jazian Gortman and Joseph Barrino give them a good start.
#3 West-Oak HS vs #2 Southside HS (Greenville)
Slater Miller went over 1,000 points earlier this season for West-Oak HS which is located in the northwest corner of the state along the Georgia/North Carolina State line.
Lower State
#4 Loris HS vs #1 Bishop England HS
Aidan McCoolThe Lions have to travel down to play the Battling Bishops on Daniel Island. William Hemingway and Jamarious Herring will really look to lead the Lions in the upset. Patrick Antonelli, Aidan McCool and Daniel Brooks will lead the red hot Batting Bishops.
#3 May River HS vs #2 Strom Thurmond HS
Harry Cash will look to lead his Sharks squad on the road vs the Rebels over in Edgefield County.
#4 Waccamaw HS vs #1 Marion HS
Carrele CooperCan the Warriors upset the Swamp Foxes ? Carrele Cooper, Victor Otubu and Fisher Darden will have to be on their games. TJ Sanders, Mac Washington and AJ Vaught lead the Swamp Foxes offense.
#3 Gilbert HS vs #2 Wade Hampton HS
The Indians will travel down I-95 to the Varnville area to play the Red Devils.
#4 Lake Marion HS vs #1 Edisto HS
The Gators showed much improvement this season and will travel over to Cordova in Orangeburg County to play for the Cougars.
#3 Cheraw HS vs #2 Georgetown HS
Darrell GardnerMarshall Myers came back from having a year off to being named Player of the Year this season for the Braves. Devin Gillespie is a solid contributor here for the Braves. Darrell Gardner, Isaiah Howell and Tyvon Richardson will look to lead the Bulldogs at home.
#4 Swansea HS vs #1 Ridgeland-Hardeeville HS
Swansea will trip down to Jasper County right before you leave the state to enter Georgia to play this playoff opener.
#3 Manning HS vs #2 Lake City HS
Justin DanielsThe Monarchs must go on the road led by Leondria Nelson, Jaquan Fletcher, Justin Daniels and Jehqwauyn Hilton. The Tigers will counter with Malik Hailey, Bryce McIntosh, Hilshon Bailey and EJ McClam.
