Ray Horry 5’7 Christian-O’Fallon: The quick 2022 floor general had a terrific all-around game in the Eagles victory over Wright City. He finished with 15 points, six rebounds, six assists and six steals. He set the tempo for his team at both ends of the court with his passing and ball hawking. He also knocked down a pair of 3-pointers.
Roddy Alexander 5’11 Christian-O’Fallon: The 2021 combo guard scored a game high 22 points in the victory over Wright City. He is an excellent finisher at the rim who attacks the basket in the transition game or in the half court offense with equal zeal. He also delivered some nice passes to teammates in the transition game.
Marcus Coleman 6’2 Lutheran St. Charles: The 2023 point guard scored 15 points as the No. 6 Cougars defeated the host No. 3 seed Winfield. He displayed excellent poise for such a young player in his first postseason game. He combines good size with a nice offensive skill set. With the game in the balance late, he sealed the win with six consecutive free throws.
Gabe Cash 5’7 North Callaway: The 2020 point guard scored a game high 16 points as he engineered a near upset of No. 2 Montgomery on Monday night. He plays with tremendous pace, yet he has control of that ball at all times. He can beat you going left or right with his speed and wiggle and he can hit the stop and pop jumper.
D.J. Gillespie 5’9 Winfield: The 2022 point guard played a nice floor game at both ends of the court. He showcased all of the elements of a good floor general. His handles were good and his passing was on the money. He could make an open perimeter shot and play solid defense.
Cody Cash 5’7 North Callaway: The 2021 guard is the brother of Gabe Cash and he is equally fast and elusive with the ball in his hands. He also plays well without the ball as he can come off screens and hit perimeter jumpers. He finished with 13 points against Montgomery County.
