1st Round Byes – High Point Academy (Defending State Champs), Wagener-Salley HS, Great Falls, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS, Scott’s Branch HS, Military Magnet, Hemingway HS and Charleston Math & Science
Upper State
#3 Denmark-Olar vs Lamar HS
Malik PalmerThe Vikings drive up to the Pee Dee led by Malik Palmer and Zachary Davis.
#4 Calhoun Falls Charter vs Timmonsville HS
Christian TaylorThe Whirlwinds will host this very young team Blue Flashes from across the state. Christian Taylor and Tyron Fleming could cause problems for the Blue Flashes in this game.
#4 Blackville-Hilda HS vs Dixie HS (Due West)
Adonis DavisAdonis Davis will take his Hawks squad up to the Upstate to play the Hornets. Sharpshooter William Snipes, Max Peeler and Jenkins Peeler will have the Hornets ready.
#5 Estill HS vs McCormick HS
Estill HS gets to travel 113 miles (2 hours – 8 minutes) to play the Chiefs in the opening round game.
Lower State
#3 Green Sea Floyds HS vs Baptist Hill HS
The Trojans head down to Hollywood (yes Hollywood on the other side of Charleston approximately 20 miles) to play in the first round.
Low Country Leadership vs Lake View HS
Ja’Montrell Waters and the Wild Gators will host a 1st round game.
#4 Palmetto Scholars vs Bethune-Bowman HS
Bradley WashingtonBradley Washington has been the only bright spot this season for Bethune-Bowman HS.
St John’s HS vs C.E. Murray HS
Petrie IzzardThe War Eagles play at home vs the Islanders in the opening round. Sonai Edwards, Petrie Izzard and Henry Evans will lead the charge for the host.
