Arkansas Valley-Chisholm Trail (2)
Andover, Andover Central, Arkansas City, Eisenhower, Goddard, Maize South, Valley Center
Peyton Crawford, 6’2, G/F, 2020, Goddard
A good shot blocker who has an eye for plays and stays with the ball. Crawford moves well off the ball and can cover ground and break up plays from behind. He has good length and a nice combination of toughness and hustle which helps him as an undersized player in the paint. Crawford is an inside-outside forward on offense as he can handle it come and connect from 3-point range.
Adam Kasitz, G/F, 2020, Maize South
Kasitz is a tough player who gets a lot of playing time due to his versatility and athleticism. He is the team’s leading rebounder and shows a lot of hustle and heart around the glass. He get up the floor quickly and is good at protecting the basket and can also force turnovers. Kasitz is averaging 7.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. He’s shooting 50 percent from the field and is also comfortable shooting 3-pointers if he has an open look.
Blake Mitchell, G, 2020, Goddard
A confident two-way guard who runs the floor and can handle the ball. Mitchell plays hard and fast and looks to get up the floor and make plays in transition whether he’s on offense or protecting the basket. A hard-nosed player who put everything he has to his play and uses his athleticism and speed well.
Chance Omli, 6’1, G/F, 2020, Eisenhower
Another senior player who is strong for his frame and uses physicality and hustle to his advantage. One of the better defensive rebounders on his team, Omli has strong hands and knows how to find spacing and does his best to keep the ball secure. Omli is averaging 5.8 points, 1.1 assists, 5.2 rebounds and .6 steals per game. He’s shooting 57 percent from the field as he likes to stay close to the basket and does his best offensive play inside the perimeter.
Kaden Wilson, 6’0, G, 2020, Andover Central
Wilson is a seasoned guard for Central who can handle the ball some and play well on both ends of the floor. He’s a tough player who is good at rebounding and applies strong pressure to the perimeter. He switches off players quickly and is also someone who can score in transition and around the glass and get to the free-throw line. Wilson is averaging 6.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and one steal and one assist per game. He’s shooting 43 percent from the field and a nice 40 percent from 3-point range. He’s also connecting on 79 percent from his free throw attempts.
