Ryan Kalkbrenner 7’0″ Trinity: The Creighton signee was a dominant force in the Titans’ 66-64 victory over East St. Louis. Kalkbrenner put up a triple-double with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks against a talented East St. Louis front line. He was selected the MVP of the game for his efforts.
Jordan Gilmore 6’4″ Hazelwood East: The 2020 wing is on a late-season surge and that continued with an 18-point performance in the Spartans’ 61-56 victory over Belleville East in a mild upset. Gilmore had it going from long distance as he made five 3-pointers and staked the Spartans to a big early lead. He was selected the MVP of the game for his efforts.
Rashad Weekly 6’0″ Trinity: The Central Michigan signee was very solid in the Titans victory over East St. Louis as he finished the game with 17 points, four rebounds and four assists. He controlled the pace of the game and made sure his 7’0″ teammate Ryan Kalkbrenner got the ball in the post.
Jaylen Boyd 6’1″ Ladue: The 2020 point guard had a big game in the Rams’ 61-52 loss to Mt. Vernon. Boyd put in work at both ends of the court as he had 21 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.
