Putnam City North celebrated its senior-night festivities Friday with an in-city win against Putnam City to close the curtain on the regular season. Despite an early lead taken by Putnam City, the Pirates were unable to dodge the fiery transition play of the Panthers, which snowballed in the second half. Jeremiah Johnson led all performers with 24 points.

Johnson was en fuego Friday night, playing just about unstoppable. The freshman standout notched 24 points while recording six steals and four assists. Johnson knocked a trio of 3-pointers, but also had a couple mid-range conversions and finished the ball well at the rim. Had a couple rim-robbers given him more lenience, Johnson could have had a 30-ball.
