There was dual excitement for me in sitting down for this 2nd game, for I hadn't seen a solid Cambridge club yet this season and North Atlanta's 6-5 junior big man Montavious Myrick, whose return from a broken leg suffered nearly 2 years ago has been hampered by setbacks, came out of the locker room suited up.

Myrick though, as I found out prior to tipoff, had only been cleared for limited minutes, but it was great I'm sure for his family and NA fans to see him back out there. The Warriors play so hard, and I enjoy watching this spirited group, but the size and depth of Cambridge outlasted them in a 62-52 win for the Bears.

Players who stood out:

EJ Smith (Cambridge, 2020, 6-3, SG) - Displaying a confident shooting touch from 3-land, Smith led the way for the Bears with 23 points (four 3's). He's a classic spot-up gunner for today's game, and Cambridge has a slew of crafty guards to get it to him. He also showed an excellent handle getting
