Blessing Adesipe played for Alief Taylor High School. Although we weren’t able to watch him during the high school season because of an injury. He was one of the most improved players from the AAU Summer in the Greater Houston Area. He only played in 4 games this year and averaged 20.2 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per game, 1.8 steals per game, and 0.5 blocks per game. Last season as a junior his team went 18-14 on the season had an early exit in the first round of the playoffs and he averaged 7.5 points and 5 rebounds per game.
Blessing is a uber-athletic wing that could play combo-forward because of his strength and leaping ability to alter and block shots. His ball-handling greatly improved. His ability to make jumpers off the dribble and take his opponent to the rim to put them in the rim was all due to his ball-handling. He was originally just a rim runner that has expanded his game. He was knocking down outside jumpers at a way higher rate and also guarding smaller guards. He is a late bloomer and has grown into his body. Once he is cleared whichever school takes a chance on him won’t be disappointed.
How are you doing today? I’m doing good today just have school and rehab. You spoke of rehab how are you healing and do you plan on playing as an unsigned senior? If so who will you be playing with? My rehab is going really well and I don’t plan on playing as an unsigned senior because I do not think I would be cleared in time to play but if I do get cleared I would probably have to find a team to play for. How is your recruitment looking? Who has offered you and what schools have been in contact with you? My recruitment definitely took a hit but I have been offered by the University of Dallas, Bethel College, Miles Community College, and Presentation College. I have been contacted by Saint Mary’s, Dawson Community College, Lamar State Port Arthur, Coastal Blend College, Rogers State & College of Sequoias have also been in contact with me. Final question can you describe your game for those who have never seen you play? I’m a long athletic wing that runs the floor, plays hard, communicates, and can knock down open jumpers.
