10. Eaglecrest
Eaglecrest is facing the losses against the best league in Colorado, the Centennial league. This team has come very close in some of their bigger match ups but have yet to beat a top team in the Centennial league. It will be interesting to see if juniors Ty Robinson and Skylar Wilson can consistently step up to help out the team to get some big wins, we see the promise they both have. Eaglecrest has a tough week ahead when they play Grandview then Cherry Creek.
9. Columbine
Columbine is coming off of some big wins recently beating Pomona, Ralston Valley, and Mountain Vista. The Colorado commit Luke O’Brien is leading the team, he is their go to scorer who has showed up in the clutch, winning this team multiple games. Washington State football commit Justin Lohrenz has stepped up since he got back helping out Luke with scoring rebounding. This team has a pretty easy schedule for the rest of the season, they should win the rest of their games.
8. Valor Christian
Valor Christian is coming off of a big win against Pomona. This team is long and deep, most of their players in rotation are over 6’4, except for one player. Junior Amondo Miller has impressed on the season leading the team in scoring averaging 12.7 points per game. This team does not have a challenging match up until the last game of their season when they play George Washington.
7. Ralston Valley
Ralston Valley is comimg off of a tough loss to Columbine but finished the week off with a good win against Pomona. This team is being led by one of the best duos in the state, Caden Gigstad and Caleb Rillos, who are both putting up above 16 points a game. This team does not have any tough games to finish off the season.
6. East
East is coming off of a good win against Lincoln this week. Junior Boston Stanton has been dominating this season with his smooth pull up jumper. Then sophomore Langston Reynolds has been able to use soft touch to dominate the paint. This team has some good games coming up to end the season playing Thomas Jefferson, Northfield, and George Washington.
5. Fairview
Fariview is having a very good season, only losing 3 games. The question with this team is by the end of the season will they be as battle tested as other top teams. Their star junior Greysen Carter has been one the surprises of the year, leading this team and being one of the top scorers in his class. They do have some good match ups coming up before the season ends when they play Boulder, Fossil Ridge, and Broomfield.
4. Smoky Hill
Smoky Hill has had a good showing in the ever so tough Centennial league, this team will definitely be battle tested at the end of the season. This team has taken some losses recently when but are looking to bounce back strong to finish out the season. With the backcourt duo of Quinten Rock and Jalen Weaver, this team has potential to make a big playoff run. They have some challenging match ups before the season ends playing Overland, Arapahoe, Eaglecrest, and Cherry Creek.
3. Cherry Creek
Cherry Creek has had a great showing in the Centennial league going 8-1. Two of their losses on the season where before all of their football players where back, and have only loss two with their players back, to Grandview and Chaparral. One the most impressive things about this team has been their ability to slow down opposing teams best players, this cause being led by Julian Hammond and Myles Purchase. This team has some challenging match ups to finish off the season playing Arapahoe, Eaglecrest, Grandview, and Smoky Hill.
2. Grandview
Grandview has had the most impressive play in the Centennial league going 9-1 only losing to Smoky Hill in double overtime. This team has had a very impressive record and has one of the toughest schedules in the state. This team is being led by arguably the most impressive duo in the state Lian Ramiro and Caleb McGill, who have been dominating. They have some good challenges coming up when they play Cherry Creek, Overland, and Eaglecrest.
1. Rangeview
Rangeview remains at number one still being undefeated. This team is undefeated but they have not had a vigorous schedule, so there will be teams that will challenge them in the playoffs. With this talented team they can run with anyone in the state. This team has one last challenge before playoffs when they rematch Vista Peak.
