Donovan Stocks, Covington Catholic – Stocks has a good build on the wing and is shooting the ball really well this year, making 53% of his shots overall and 49% of his three point attempts. Donovan doesn’t get a ton of shots but that is par for the course at Covington Catholic as the teams tend to be very Senior driven. Stocks is a wing to keep an eye on moving forward.
Xander Wagner-Rose, Oldham County – Wagner-Rose is on a very balanced Oldham County team that is led by 4 Junior starters. Xander is a true post player who can score facing up or with his back to the basket. At 6’7, he needs to continue improving as an out of area rebounder but he has a good skill level and is an excellent passer out of the post.
Braeden Ray, Madison Central – One of the best catch and shoot players in the Junior class, Ray has become a better all around player in his Junior campaign. Second on the team in scoring and third on the team in rebounding, Ray is shooting 47% from downtown and has done an excellent job of getting to the free throw line six and a half times per game.
Elias Richardson, Scott County – With so many returning players opting to transfer to Great Crossing, Elias stayed at Scott County and has been a capable second scorer next to Terrin Hamilton. Putting up 16 points and 5 rebounds per game is very solid and Richardson is shaping up to be a top player in the 11th region next season.
Andrew Mason, Thomas Nelson – Mason is very skilled at the wing spot and having a strong individual season despite the struggles at Thomas Nelson. Andrew can score the ball (averaging 19.2 points per game) and rebounds at a high rate (8.3 per game). His shooting splits of 49/48/71 are impressive. Mason could be a scholarship level player down the road.
