England Getting a Ton of JUCO Interest
2020 guard Tyrese England is one of the best isolation scorers in the state this season.
As a senior, England is putting up 18.0 points per game and had 23 against Brookfield Central at the Luke Homan Showcase over the weekend. A likely back-to-back first-team All-Conference pick, England could be headed to the junior college route after high school.

England said he’s mainly hearing from JUCO programs at this time. Currently the No. 49 ranked senior in the 2020 class, England is likely on his way up into the top 40.
Palesse Putting up Big Numbers
Returning to the floor after suffering from mono, 2021 guard Cameron Palesse scored 30 points for Waukesha West in a win over Westosha Central Tuesday night. Palesse is averaging 21.0 ppg this season and has scored 20 or more points in seven of his 10 games.
The 6-foot-4 combo guard has offers from LIU-Brooklyn, UW-Green Bay, LIU-Brooklyn, Missouri State, Canisius, Fairfield, and Southern Illinois. Palesse said Nebraska, Washington State, Iowa State, UNLV, Colorado State, Loyola (IL), Boise State, Princeton, and Lehigh were all expressing interest.

While he’s a little bit of a tweener, Palesse was arguably the most consistent performer for Wisconsin Playground Club during the Under Armour Finals in July and held his own against high level competition. Also a standout defender, Palesse is one of the better two-way players in the state that often thrives on stopping the other team’s best player.
Joplin Looking Like a High Major Talent
The offer list for David Joplin isn’t translating to how good of a player of he is. Joplin picked up two early offers from UNLV and DePaul. Since April of 2018, only UW-Green Bay, UW-Milwaukee and Valparaiso have followed suit.
Based on his play this season, Joplin is likely headed for bigger and better scholarships.

The third-ranked, and perhaps soon to be second-ranked junior in the state, Joplin is posting 20.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game on a loaded Brookfield Central squad.
Joplin said Butler has been turning up their interest and he’ll visit the Bulldogs on Feb 1. He also visited Loyola (IL), while Santa Clara remains in contact. Wisconsin also hosted Joplin in the fall.
Probst Down to Three
2020 guard Ben Probst has Madison La Follette (11-0) still unbeaten and atop the Big Eight Conference standings. A high-IQ, hard-nosed prospect that can score, but also do the dirty work, Probst is giving the Lancers 15.0 ppg this season.
Probst told Prep Hoops Wisconsin that he’s likely to end up in the WIAC next season. The 6-foot-1 guard said he’s “pretty much down to” UW-La Crosse, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Platteville.
Probst is currently the No. 48 ranked senior in Wisconsin.
