Jaxon Brackeen, 6’1, G, 2021, Newton
Another Newton guard with good size who is learning to score well and make extra passes. He’s listed at 6’1 and has the ability to defend several positions. He can go inside some and is also counted on for spot-up shooting at times. He’s averaging 12.3 points, three rebounds and two steals per game.
Bronxon Frierson, 6’2, G, 2021, Wichita Heights
Frierson is a good competitor who has good size and ability to play either guard position. He can handle the balsam and create opportunities for himself and is also good at scoring and moving off the ball. He rebounds well and is a hungry defender who plays great up and down ball.
Cody Houser, 6’0, PG, 2021, Eisenhower
Houser makes good decisions in transition and has the ability to play smart and half court settings as well. He can score for himself and looks to play aggressively on the defensive end and come can come away with the ball off a steal or rebound. He’s averaging 11.3 points, two assists, 4.3 rebounds and two steals per game. He’s shooting an impressive 68 percent from the field, 43 percent from the 3-point line and 73 percent from the free throw line.
Eli Isaacs, 6’1, G, 2021, Valley Center
Isaacs is nice to a player who can contribute as a scoring option and a defensive hustle player. He finds ways to make plays around the basket and also has good handles and ability to make extra passes and create openings for his teammates. A player with good vision who can score for himself and forced turnovers on the other side of the floor. He’s averaging 10 points, 5.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game.
Parker Scott, 6’2, G, 2021, Maize South
Another NLHA player for Maize South who shows promise and good form as a shooter. Scott is a lanky scoring guard who can operate off the ball and catch and shoot quickly. He is confident inside the perimeter and can connect at times from three-point range and the free throw line. He’s a good rebounder for his size and is also active on defense staying in front of the ball and looking to come away with it quick steel and transition play. He’s second in scoring for South averaging 13 points per game and adding 5.5 rebounds and one steal.
