Blake Danitschek, 6’5, F, 2021, Kapaun Mt Carmel
Danitschek is a nice piece who brings a lot of pros to the floor. He’s a flexible defender who can play inside and also see time on the perimeter, both as a scorer and defensive player. He’s aggressive on both ends and finds easy looks around the basket because of it. A hustle player who stays on the move and plays well off the ball. He’s averaging a team high in scoring with 12.5 points per game while shooting 40 percent from the field and 90 percent from the free throw line. Pray-N-Play summer performer who is leading his team in the regular season.
Jacob Hanna, 6’3, G/F, 2021, Maize
A strong junior prospect on the rise who has shown an ability to make plays. He’s an improved two-way player who shows an impressive ability to adapt and adjust his game to the given situation. He is a long, rangy guard who can play above the rim and excels in transition. Hanna didn’t play much varsity time a year ago but is now running the show and leading his team in scoring. He’s averaging 14.4 points, 1.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds, one steal and two blocks per game. A much improved performer and a stronger, more physical player inside.
Alex Krogmeier, 6’4, G/F, 2020, Newton
Krogmeier is a nice senior guard for Newton is scoring a team-high 18 points and adds six rebounds and 2.7 steals per game. He’s often put in positions that aren’t favorable for his game, but he finds a way to hustle and make plays when it counts. He has a soft-touch to his shot and a smooth, repeatable shooting stroke. A nice swing style player who can slash and connect from a distance.
Isaac LeShore, 6’4, G/F, 2020, Buhler
A nice player who brings a lot of positives to the floor, both as a defender and scorer. LeShore has good speed and good athleticism for his position and can make plays around the basket through contact. He’s averaging 20 points per game and adds four rebounds and three steals. LeShore is shooting an impressive 81 percent from the field and 70 percent from the free throw line. LeShore was also a summer standout with MTXE and he seems to have continued his trend of productive play on both sides of the floor.
Cody Stufflebean, 6’4, F, 2020, McPherson
One of the state’s top football recruits, Stufflebean has had a big start for McPherson, showing smart overall play on both sides of the floor. He’s active on the perimeter and can play strong and get touches on the high and low post. He has a good feel for the position and has a seasoned game as he brings a lot of understanding and a high IQ to the floor. He’s averaging 13.6 points per game and adds six rebounds and one steal per game. Also a confident rim protector who can block shots.
