Jake Martin – 2021 – Whitewater: At 7’0”, 325 pounds, Martin possesses high major dimensions — and this season, scholarship-warranting stats. Through eight games he’s averaging 18.2 points and 14 rebounds a game while converting on 61.8 percent of his attempts from the field.
Brayden Dailey – 2021 – Cuba City: The stud junior transfer has transitioned smoothly into this system, and has the numbers to prove it. Despite sharing touches, he’s scoring 23.5 points a night on 60 percent shooting from the field. And, as a possible byproduct of his time playing forward with Playground, he’s hauling in nearly ten rebounds while swatting a shot per game.
Preston Ruedinger – 2021 – Lourdes Academy: Lourdes felt the stinging bite of roster turnover this offseason. A senior-founded group gave way to a new-look roster, and so far, Ruedinger looks to be the new face. He’s putting up eye-popping numbers, specifically as a scorer. Aside from his 27.9 points per game, he’s shooting 53 percent from the field and 43 percent from beyond the arc. And, when he’s not scoring at one of the highest levels in the division, he’s dishing out assists to a variety of teammates (4.4 per game).
Kellen Kenney – 2020 – Fennimore: Keeney is Wisconsin’s best bet to average a triple-double this year. The Fennimore guard is averaging 16 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game, a loaded stat line alone, even without his 1.4 steals a game and 44 percent three-point shooting. The breakout senior is certainly an entertaining player and a driving force behind his team’s successful year.
Danilo Jovanovich – 2022 – Whitnall: Jovanovich’s confidence is evident in his game, and maybe more obvious in the way he’s dominated this season. As a sophomore, he’s putting up 19.7 points and 7.6 rebounds a game. He’s a leader on his team, and as a sophomore, those numbers mean that much more.
Steven Clay – 2022 – Menomonee Falls: Staying on par with the sophomore trend, we have one of the best sophomores in the state in Steven Clay. He’s been a force this season with his build and savvy, which has led to 22.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and three assists a night.
Mason Dorn – 2021 – Seymour: Dorn is turning heads this year as Wisconsin’s newest near-30 points per game scorer. He’s averaging 27.5 points a night to pair with 6.7 rebounds and 5.4 rebounds, an unbelievably packed stat line that merits more attention.
