Community Christian Jimmy Forte: He’s number six in the state in scoring at 29 PPG and has plenty of the tools that you look for in a PG. Good height at 6’2/6’3 , strong upper body and deep shooting range. His recruitment up to this point has been pretty quiet but schools should be dropping in to see him.
Washington HS Rashod Smith: He’s averaged seven or more assist per game since his freshman season as well as dropping 20+ points a night and is still without an offer. He has competed well against just about every top Guard in the ENC area and will be a nice pickup for D2 programs that need a dual threat PG.
Dixon HS Everett Lewis: Recently he recorded his 1,000th career point which shouldn’t be much of a surprise as he has been scoring the ball at a nice level the last few years. The mixture of scoring ability and athleticism are part of the reason why he’s not only successful on the high school level but has potential to be a nice player at the college level next year.
Living Water Christian Malachi Borders: It’s difficult to transfer in to a new program as a Senior and attempt to lead a team but that is exactly what he has done. His ballhandling and passing skills as well as nice overall IQ for the game are some of the reason why he had achieved success as a PG and will be a good PG on the next level. You love to see a player that looks to get others involved but has the ability to get his own offense when called upon and that’s why Borders brings to the table.
Winston Salem Prep Stephen Minor: We really like the physicality and veteran leadership that he brings to the table every time he’s on the floor. Regardless of what may be going on, he’s going to make the right play and always plays under control. D2 programs have shown interest and we feel that he would be a good fit at that level as he could make a nice impact early.
Westover HS Isiash Bridges: Don’t measure his impact by his stats as he’s not a player that will score the ball a ton simply because his team has plenty of scorers already. Bridges is a player that can facilitate as well as defend at a high level and already has somewhat of a college physique. He’s a very coachable young man, is a natural leader and understands what it takes to win games.
