Grant Niehaus has another double-double
Last night, 2020 SG Grant Niehaus continued his tremendous play in his senior year with dropping another double-double in Washington’s win over Gibson Southern, 66-38. His double-double consisted of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Niehaus has really broke out this year and has his team standing at a great 10-3 record. I have said it before but this prospect is a flat out bucket-getter. Washington has a great chance to win their Sectional.
Hudson and Thompson each score 16 points.
The Knights of Bishop Luers defeated a solid Lakewood Park team, 79-64, last night. The main reason behind that win was that prospects, 2020 SF DeMarcus Hudson and 2021 PG Naylon Thompson, each dropped 16 points. It is hard to defeat a team when two of their top players score in such high, double figures like that. Luers will host Fort Wayne Dwenger on Friday.
Woodlan’s huge upset win
The Warriors of Woodlan scored their biggest win of the season last night defeating Prairie Heights, 72-71. While this may look like an out-of-nowhere win, this should not come as a huge surprise as Woodlan is on a big 4-game winning streak. 2022 SF Joe Reidy led his team to victory with his 27 points while his teammate, 2020 PF Mitch Mendenhall, added 26 points. We will see if Woodlan can keep their win streak active when they host Heritage on Friday.
