There was everything you could ask for in Tuesday's slate of games. Marquee matchups across the state, top players going at it in position battles and also my favorite -- a few upsets. There were plenty of standouts on Tuesday and what we continue to see is new names emerging on this last for big days so it is only right we highlight them. Here are a few standout performances on the day that was too good to pass up on. 

Tim Broom – Douglas County

Douglas County is a team that has gotten off to a very good start. They have a two out of state losses and one to one of the better teams in the state but have an impressive resume with some good wins. Their most consistent player has been senior guard Tim Broom who has been able to score and get others involved but has also shown that he is the de facto no. 1 when all things are considered and will take over when needed. In Douglas County’s big win over Chatfield, he took over as he had a big 25 points on 12-16 shooting from the field. What was different about this game
