The 2nd Half of the HS. Season
The Texas High School Basketball Season has been nothing short of exciting and thrilling so far. We are officially halfway through the season and there have been a lot of Texas High School teams and prospects who have separated themselves in tournaments and in non-district games. I expect the second half of the season to be just as good especially with district play in full effect and not to mention in two months multiple teams from UIL, TAPPS, and a team SPC will be crowned state champions!
Where Will They End Up?
We’re only a couple of months away until the 2020 high school season will be over with and a few months after the class of 2020 hoopers will be walking across the stage. That being said, there are still a bunch of unsigned seniors who are still available, that can help D1, D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO’s. College Coaches make sure you head to Texas and recruit our players because there are a lot of young men that have the ability to really help your program.
Grassroots Basketball
Now it may not be AAU season just yet but there has been a lot of talk regarding the upcoming grassroots season. There are already a handful of big time players who have decided to play on different teams this season as well as a couple of team mergers. Some of those prospects who will be playing on new team’s include Manny Obeseki to Hardwork, Tre White to Houston Hoops, and Jerrell Colbert to Houston Hoops, but they’re definitely more talented Texas prospects who will be playing with new teams at the start of AAU. Last but not least I would like to highlight some of the top Texas tournaments that will be hosting some of the best shoe sponsored and independent programs in the South Region.
