Welcome to the 1,000-Point Club
2020 guard Everett Lewis – Dixon High School
Everett Lewis is an unsigned senior that recently surpassed 1,000 points in his high school career. The 6-foot-2 guard scored 30 points against Richlands High School while surpassing the 1,000-point mark for Dixon High School.
2021 guard Jamari Mann – Granville Central High School
2021 guard Jamari Mann has joined the 1,000-point club after Tuesday night. After posting 33 points along with six 3-pointers, Mann is another member of the Granville Central squad to surpass 1,000-points. Backcourt mate Terence Harcum Jr. achieved the feat last season.
2021 guard Brodie Clark – Scotland Christian
Clark is another member of the junior class to surpass the 1,000-point mark. He scored 38 points against Liberty Christian this past weekend to achieve the feat. He recently earned an offer from St. Andrew’s University back in December.
Welcome to the 2,000-Point Club: Dylan Blake
Not to be outdone, First Flight unsigned senior Dylan Blake has surpassed the 2,000-point mark after putting up 42 points against Bertie High on Friday. He also posted 40 points against Greene Central this past Monday. It’s Blake’s fourth 40-point effort of the season. He’s a player who continues to turn heads with his ability to compete on both ends and remains one of the best unsigned prospects in the class.
Anthony Allen commits
2020 Independence point guard Anthony Allen has announced his commitment to Lees-McRae University. He also held offers from Rider and Mount Olive. Allen is averaging 17.1 points, 3.1 assists and 2.0 steals per contest this season for the Patriots and just scratching the surface of what he’s capable of.
Breon Pass drops 50 points
In the Big Shots MLK Tourney Showcase this past Saturday, 2021 guard Breon Pass put on a show in a comeback victory for the Reidsville Rams. Pass put up 50 points and 11 rebounds including the game-winning free throws and block to seal a 92-90 victory for his squad. They trailed by as many as 21 points before Pass turned on his heroics and put on a show. He’s a two-sport athlete with tons of potential to make waves on the hardwood and the gridiron.
Don’t sleep on Mount Tabor
The Mount Tabor Spartans have quietly made a name for themselves this season in the Piedmont Triad Conference and they’re currently 17-0 and 3-0 with a big win over Ben L. Smith at home this past week. As the second half of the season approaches, they’re a squad to keep an eye on led by seniors Shaylen Woodberry, Jakob Moore and Davis Blackwell.
