The Prep Hoops staff of writers live in gyms around the nation 12 months out of the year and has once again come together for a Prep Hoops top 500.   A full staff of writers coming together for our senior ranking, and here is the Prep Hoops top 500 in numbers.

 

500 – The amount of players the Prep Hoops staff ranked in the senior class with writers offering in their suggestions plus their individual state rankings to put this list of players together.

257 – The rank of Prep Hoops Circuit First Team All American Sam Godwin who has signed with Wofford

215 – Murray State signed Dionte Blanch is ranked 215th and he was a Prep Hoops Circuit First Team All American this past 17u season.

194 – The number of high major signed/committed players on this list. A number that is much smaller than I believe college basketball and high school basketball fans understand.

150 – The number of shooting guards in this top 500

134 – Amount of uncommitted/unsigned prospects on this list

111– Amount of Point guards in our top 500

101 – There are 101 power forwards on this list. 

87 – The rank of Prep Hoops Circuit First Team All American and Marquette signed Osasere Ighodaro

80 – The rank of Prep Hoops Circuit First Team All American and Stanford signed Max Murrell

52 – Where you will find 17U First Team All American Dwon Odom, a point guard committed to Xavier.

36 – LSU committed shooting guard Cameron Thomas is ranked 36th after a 17U First Team All American summer and a strong winter so far with Oak Hill Academy

32 – Texas might be the land of high school football but 33 of their current high school basketball players are top 500 worthy

12 – Number of top 50 players that Duke and Kentucky have already landed from this top 50

11 – Number of top 100 players that are uncommitted

7 – The Amount of Prep Hoops Circuit 17U All Americans in the top 500

6 – The ranking of Minnehaha Academy guard Jalen Suggs, a First Team 17U All American committed to Gonzaga

5 – Amount of top 25 players that haven’t made a college decision yet
