Trinity Christian Sophomore Jamari McDougald: This was the most complete game that we had seen from him so far. He shot the ball well from three point range and did a nice job of disturbing the ball to teammates.
Village Christian Senior Guard Justin Thomas: Scored the ball at a very high level in the second half and would lead all scorers on the night with 33 points. Going scoreless in the first quarter he turned it up throughout the remainder of the game, scoring the ball in various ways. D1 programs that are not already on him should drop in to pay a visit.
Trinity Christian Senior Forward Todd Burtt: He was efficient making plays from the high post, scoring and assisting on quite a few plays in the first half. The combination of his scoring as well as activity on the boards make him a very valuable asset to his team.
Village Christian Senior Guard Zavian Mclean: One thing that we know for a fact, regardless of whatever is going on during the game, you’re going to get max effort from Zay. He’s constantly attacking offensively and applying pressure on the defensive side of the ball. He would finish with 28 Points on the night before fouling out in the 4th quarter.
Trinity Christian Freshman Guard Xavier Tubbs: This young man is a name that you will want to get to know sooner than later without a doubt. He displayed a confidence and ability that you don’t see from many youngsters his age. Knocking down the open shots and constantly attacking the defense, he was a huge part of the Trinity offense in the first half.
Village Christian Senior Forward Josh Reid: D2 Schools that are looking for a 6’5 stretch forward type of player should give Josh a call. He’s displayed a nice overall skillset that allows him to play on the wing as well as in the post.
Trinity Christian Senior Forward Travon Jackson: He’s a high energy player that pulled down a high amount of rebounds for his team on the night. Although he is undersized for his position he makes up for it with his athletic ability and high motor.
