There’s nothing like the atmosphere of a high energy rivalry game. It brings the best and the worst out of crowds and both teams want the win and everything that comes along with it. It just so happens that McKinney high school and Boyd have a special talent on their teams that without a doubt left it all on the floor.
Never Too Young
Between these two teams, 7 underclassmen are major figures in the team’s production. Boyd’s Kendall Alexander made his limited time on the floor worth it as he drained two high arcing threes and a strong transition layup through several defenders. His 6-3 chiseled frame allowed him to stand up to a variety of opponents of defense.
Boyd Freshman Kyle Layton was easily one of the more exciting players to watch in this game. He’s quick with a deadly jumper that leads him to near double-digit scoring on a balanced team. He makes plays for others but when the ball is on his hands; be wary of the ways he puts it in the bucket.
