There is a lot of good players that reside in Northern Utah and we take a look at some players to watch, Some of these players have some notoriety and some don’t.
5’10 Colby Browning (Northridge High School)
Northridge is 1-10 which hurts them but we have been seeing some inspired play from undersized guard Colby Browning. Had a great night in his last game as he put up 26 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assist and 4 steals. His desire and effort was seen.
6’5 Connor Saunders (Syracuse High School)
Connor has been playing well all season. He had his first double-double of the season in last weekends game as he put up 18 and 10. Had himself a nice game against Northridge as he dropped 33 a season high. He will need to continue to produce to compete in Region 1.
5’10 Kaden Swanson (Clearfield High School)
Kaden is another tough minded guard that is willing to go out and haul in some rebounds. For a small guard to rebound 5 a game is impressive.
6’4 Mason Thueson (Roy High School)
With good size and the ability to step out a little Mason keeps the pressure on defenses. If he continues to improve from the outside he could help Roy in the win column.
6’0 Cannon Devries (Weber High School)
The 6’0 sophomore guard has a nice game. He is patient and takes good shots. Great court vision that will get other players involved. Had an 11 assist game earlier this year. He is developing nicely.
