Brock Wisne – 6’8” F – Horizon High School
Not only is Brock leading his team in scoring and rebounds, logging 156 points and 99 rebounds going into the winter break, he’s also averaging a double-double per game so far. Definitely one of the best big men in his class, Brock dominates at the rim by using his size for rebounds and put-backs. Wisne can also shoot from various ranges, making him a must-know young player.
David Ngewasi – 6’2” F – Arvada High School
This young baller plays as if he is bigger and older than he actually is, which is a huge understatement to his style of play. David has shown true promise in his young varsity career. Seeing flashes of his natural ability to overpower opponents and finish strong at the rim is like digging for gold and discovering evidence of diamonds. Ngewasi understands how to use his size and strength on defense, making him hard to get around and almost impossible to go through. Remember the name David Ngewasi.
Dayne Woodis – 6’2” G – Deer Trail High School
Dayne has recorded a double-double in three out of his team’s first four games. This three-sport athlete understands what it takes to compete, especially in tough contests. He leads his team in rebounds while sitting second in scoring. Woodis has serious potential to be another great.
Jaelyn Robinson – 5’10” G – Palmer High School
Jaelyn is a very talented player with a high IQ. He has the capability to control the flow of the game with his unselfish playing style. His excellent vision allows him to identify what is happening around him in order for him to exploit it. Robinson has a high motor that goes well with his floor general characteristics.
Jaime Urbina – 5’10” G – KIPP Denver Collegiate
Jaime is a hard worker who refuses to quit. He’s a quiet contributor who makes his presence felt when on defense. His motor makes him a great hustle player who sprints to the ball while also ensuring that he stays in perfect outlet positions. Urbina plays with the demeanor of someone who could easily develop into a strong leader.
Grant Page – 6’2” G – Fairview High School
Page is a hustle player who knows how to find the ball. A decent scorer who possesses the athletic ability to go up and snag rebounds away from opponents. He can use his size to disrupt would be passing lanes and create separation. Grant is on pace to be one of the next big stars for the Knights.
Cody Nelson – 5’10” G – Arvada High School
This young athlete is a subtle scorer who starts to garner attention from opponents once they realize their mistake in underestimating him. He is the type of player who flows well with the game. He has great vision which helps him understand how to find open spaces within defenses. Cody is also a solid communicator, another trait that should be expected from a wing player who is also a QB for his football team. Nelson has the potential to be a great floor general.
