Bishop Luers beats Hamilton Heights
Last night saw Bishop Luers beat Hamilton Heights 78-72 in what was a close game throughout. Even if his team did not get the victory it is important to note that 2021 prospect Gus Etchison had an impressive 41 points. DeMarcus Hudson was the leading scorer for Luers with 20 points while his teammate Naylon Thompson dropped 17 points. Luers moves to 6-3 on the season while Heights drops to 8-4.
Kevin Palmer joins 1000 point club
Senior prospect Kevin Palmer scored 17 points and helped lead Sullivan to victory over North Knox 64-43. With that 17 points, it helped Palmer join an elite club of scoring 1000 points in their high school career. Sullivan is playing real well right now and is standing at 10-2 and is one of the best teams in 3A. With that loss, North Knox drops to 5-8.
Braxton Barnhizer has impressive double-double
Lafayette Jeff destroyed Hammond Morton 93-52 last night. One of the main reasons Jeff got the win is because 2020 prospect Braxton Barnhizer went off. He dropped 29 points and brought in 12 rebounds as well. Barnhizer is a great prospect and people need to start taking notice of that if they haven’t already. Lafayette Jeff moves to 12-1 this season.
