Simeon 2020 small forward Jeremiah Williams played with the most confidence we have seen him this season when we saw him over the weekend at the Highland Shootout.  The 6’5” wing was aggressive throughout playing hard and taking quality shots.  Drilled multiple pull up jumpers from inside the arc getting good elevation.  Smooth take he finished with a euro step.  Crashed the glass with some authority especially on the defensive end.  One of the top unsigned senior prospects still on the board in Illinois.  We caught up with him to discuss his senior year to date.

“We started off quite rough.  Being with this young group and locking in with them every day.  I am trying to find my way and how I can help them develop and elevate everyone’s game as well as mine.  I had a couple rough patches scoring, but everything else was pretty easy.  As you can see everything is turning around for us and I am looking forward to it.”

Williams is starting to take on more of a leadership role.
