St Johns XXIII jumped out early on The Village School in the first quarter forcing multiple turnovers and getting easy buckets at the rim. With a persistent game plan, The Vikings were able to take the lead, and once they had it they never looked back during the game. There were a lot of trading baskets in the second and third quarters of the game. The Lions of St Johns XXIII made a big push in the fourth quarter of the game that had the Vikings on the ropes for a second, but by them having to foul and put the Vikings on the line for free-throws at the end of the game kept the Lions at bay.

Trace Boling 6’2 SG | The Village School | Sr.
Trace had his trey ball going for him this game. He is a good catch and shoot prospect off of screens and also on the move. Has solid on-ball defense and a nice motor. He would be a great fit for any NAIA/D3 school looking for a two-guard. He finished with 16 points and shot 4/7 from behind the arc.
Dorian Boyland 6’4 W | The Village School | Jr.
Dorian is a two-way prospect who is solid on both sides of the ball. He was able to get the lane at will against the Lions. He is a play initiator and runs the point for the majority of the game. He has a solid motor and was active in the entire game. Finished the game with 16 points.
Jordan Henderson 6’7 PF | The Village School | Sr.
Jordan is an unsigned senior who cleans house on the glass. He is very athletic and would be a great fit for schools on the NAIA/D3 level. He had a couple of flushes in the game as well as altered a handful of shots. Final game stats were 14 points and pulled in 13 rebounds.
Kellen Amos 6’5 SG | St Johns XXIII | Sr. PHTX200
Kellen has a big-time motor and is super active on the entire floor. He plays solid on-ball defense as well as challenges shots at the rim. He can run the point at times on the next level as well as be utilized as a wing player. Would be a solid fit for any D2/JuCo/NAIA/D3 program that is in need of a shooter that plays defense and is long and athletic. He ended the game with 33 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and had 3 blocks and also shot 3/6 from deep.
Jonathan Amos 6’0 G | St Johns XXIII | Sr.
Jonathan is a speedy guard who plays bully basketball and gets downhill very quickly. He is also a pesky defender on-ball. Finished the game with 10 points.
