Szczechowski has an impressive skill set. He’s a pass first point guard that handles the ball well. Szczechowski likes to play fast and he sees the entire court. He’s a playmaker with the ball and has a high basketball IQ. Szczechowski is a top notch on ball defender that plays shut down D on the perimeter.
Szczechowski is focused on improving as a player and experiencing big moments on the court. He is currently working to get better with his decision making. He considers winning a district championship last season as his best moment in the game so far. Szczechowski looks forward to getting stronger in the weight room in the offeason. He also plays baseball and football, which helps add to his overall athleticism.
Nickolas Szczechowski has a lot to offer a college basketball program in the future. Obviously his skill set as a floor general is valuable, but there’s more. He’s an energy player that always gives 100%. Szczechowski feels a responsibility to his coaches and teammates to give his all and make hustle plays.
Szczechowski has goals that he wants to reach. He wants to be seen by college coaches during high school and grassroots basketball seasons. Szczechowski understands that he has to take advantage of any opportunity to be seen, and he’s ready for it. He hopes to eventually play college basketball and earn a degree.
