Hodges is a talented player with a high ceiling for improvement. First of all, he can be a bucket getter. Hodges is creative with the ball and excels in the open floor. He can create, finish, or dish, all with flare. He’s also a solid ball handler with good vertical quickness. Hodges plays with a ferocity that’s driven by his desire to win. This helps him be a leader that makes his teammates better.
Hodges likes working on his game and getting better as well as experiencing big moments on the court. He’s focused on improving defensively. Hodges knows that defense keeps you on the court. He plans on turning it into a strength.
Hodges loves the game and enjoys the big moments that come with it. He points to a game earlier this season as his top moment so far. The game was at Saginaw Valley State and he electrified the crowd with an alley-oop dunk. This season, Hodges is looking forward to the state championship at the Breslin Center. It’s his dream to play there and he’s confident in his team’s ability to get there.
Jaylen Hodges has the ability to play at the next level. He’ll provide a program at the next level with an electrifying athlete. Hodges will also bring energy, passion, and an excellent work ethic. A college coach will get a young man that understands that players need to fill roles, and that’s willing to take on whatever role his team needs.
Hodges is working toward accomplishing his goals. He wants to earn 1st Team All-State accolades and win a state championship. Long term, Hodges wants to play professional basketball, whether in the NBA or overseas. Most importantly
My goals for this season is to make 1st Team all state & just win the state championship that would be a big step for Me & The team
9. My long term goals is to go pro no matter where’s it’s at the NBA would be great but I’m fine with anything else, Off the court I just want to be a positive influence on kids younger then me
10. My greatest influence to achieve goals would be god, family, & the kids that look up to me. But the biggest person is my brother, he passed when he was a sophomore in high school so nobody never got to see his talent, I just look at it as I get a chance to do something he couldn’t and I know he’s proud of me so i’m going to make the most of it.
