Dane Coleman Dane Coleman 6'3" | SF Davison | 2022 State MI is a skilled guard from Davison High School. He’s playing at a high level and definitely needs to be seen by scouts, fans, and coaches.
Coleman has an impressive skill set. He’s a shooter at heart and it’s the backbone of his game. He has range extending beyond the 3 point line and he uses it to stretch the defense. Coleman has excellent court vision and a high basketball IQ. He always knows where people should be and he stays ahead of the action. Coleman is solid in the open floor. He can lead the break and pick up an assist by hitting a teammate.
Coleman knows that continued improvement is key long term success. He’s always in the gym perfecting his craft. Coleman is focused on adding strength. He believes that this will help his physicality on the court.
Coleman appreciates the big moments that high school basketball can provide. He points to his first varsity basket against Flint Carman-Ainsworth as his top moment so far. Coleman liked the fact that it happened in a rivalry game with a loud environment. He’s looking forward to competing in big events during grassroots season this spring and summer. Specifically, Coleman is excited to play in the Brawl For The Ball in Grand Rapids.

He understands that it’s a long process and that the opportunities will come along with his hard work. Coleman has a lot to bring to the table for a college coach. He has very valuable abilities in his skill set that next level coaches will be interested in. Coleman can provide a college program with a relentless competitor that plays with intensity on both ends.
Coleman has set goals to achieve. He wants to help his Davison team win a District Championship this season. Coleman wants to limit his turnovers and effectively guide his teams offense as a floor general. Long term, he’s eying a future as a college basketball player. He also plans on earning a college degree. Coleman seems like he’s headed towards a lot of success, on and off the court.
