In doing so, we’ve noticed a number of guys who have risen their profile with their play and aren’t currently in the rankings for their respective class. As we work on our rankings updates, here are some guys who will be making their debut in the next go-around.
Class of 2020
Reece Arenz (2020 Sunset) – All-around glue-type guard who can hit open shots, defend, and make the extra pass.
Nathan Brown (2020 Silverton) – Wing with good size at 6-foot-5 that hits open threes and also defends well in the post.
Jake Gettel (2020 Oregon City) – Hard-nosed lefty who can defend and knock down shots, especially off the dribble.
Grayson Rowell (2020 Mountainside) – Dead-eye three-point bomber especially when he’s open.
Class of 2021
Aiden Grady (2021 Westview) – Long and lanky forward who needs to get stronger but has a soft touch around the hoop.
James Lang (2021 Jesuit) – Crafty shot-making combo guard who can score at all three levels.
Ryan Lewis (2021 Clackamas) – Gritty wing who can shoot it and also excels at crashing the offensive glass for putbacks.
Charles Willmott (2021 OES) – High-academic deadeye shooter from the outside who is improving his game off of the dribble.
Trenton Rymal (2021 Franklin) – Shooter with solid size who can really fill it up from three-point range.
Class of 2022
Justice Jackson (2022 Westside Christian) – Well-built forward/wing for his age who can score both inside and out.
Devon Malcolm (2022 Butte Falls) – Extremely athletic 6-foot-3 wing who is dominating small school competition.
Julian Mora (2022 Summit) – Quick point guard that can create off the dribble but also hit open jumpers.
