Right now they are 13th in 6A, but they may be deserving of a higher ranking mainly because of junior forward Caelin Hearne, who was the Wolve’s outright No. 1 option, scoring 28 of the teams 58 points.
Hearne was undoubtedly the most talented player on the court on Friday afternoon, but Midwest City simply had more talented players than Norman North. It was hard for Hearne to keep up with the Bomber’s balanced starting attack.
Another player that only scored nine points, but served the role of a hustle guy for the Wolves was Reid Rasnic, who was a consistent defensive asset.
Once again, on Friday night, Norman North was simply outmatched by a Midwest City team that is stacked from one to the 8th man on the bench. Midwest City is also the fourth-ranked team in 6A and advanced to the championship game of the Bishop McGuinness Classic, losing to Edmond Memorial by 3.
