1. Bishop Gorman: 15-2 Last Week 2-0 – Champions are Champions for a reason. The Gaels got a gritty win on the East Coast last Saturday against Rosselle Catholic. Despite injuries, and turnover, the next man up mentality has them right on track. They conclude HoopHall on Monday. (BG fans the Rosselle Catholic game can be seen 1/18 @3:00 pm on Flo Hoops. The Oak Hill game can be seen 1/20 12:00pm PST on ESPN U.
2. Coronado: 11-4 – Last Week 2-0– Coronado defeated Foothill and Basic last week.
3. Durango: 12-5– Last Week 3-0 – The Trailblazers continue their successful season. Emerging freshmen Sebastian Mack continues to get better. This team has depth, size, and talent and will be a tough out for anyone.
4. Desert Pines: 10-6 – Last Week 2-0 – Dp is starting to gel. The Jags got two wins last week. They will have their hands full this week going up against Trinity International and UCLA commit Daishen Nix.
5. Liberty: 10-6 – Last Week 2-0 – Interesting week for the Patriots. They play conference rival Foothill before they head out on the road to play in the Quincy Shootout.
6. Arbor View 9-7 – Last Week 2-0 – The Aggies have not lost to an in-state opponent this season. They have a win over #4 Liberty. They are 5-0 in conference and picked up two more wins. They return big man Jaylon Lee and are lead by one of the best players in the state in UNLV commit Donavan Yap. This is a dangerous team that clearly passes the eye test.
7. Silverado: 10-5 – Last Week 2-1 Silverado picked up two wins the week but dropped another big game losing to conference rival Durango by 18.
8. Spring Valley: 14-5 Last Week 0-1 – The Grizzlies lost a hard-fought battle against bitter rival Durango. They travel to Gorman and host Silverado this week.
9. Spanish Springs: 13-4 Last Week 1-0 – The Cougars picked up another win this week, to extend their win streak to 7 consecutive over in-state opponents.
10. Bishop Monague: 12-5 Last Week 3-0 – The Miners are starting to hit their stride. Despite early-season injuries, they strung together 3 more wins last week.
