Westmoore was on Edmond North’s heels for the first quarter but could not maintain this pace as Edmond North pulled away in the second quarter. The Huskies had a balanced scoring attack as five players were in double digits (Landry Harris, Joell Wilson, Dalante Shannon, Cameron Lee, and Abraham Aghasedo). Westmoore was led by David Owusu as he made five three-pointers and scored 17 points.
Landry Harris – Edmond North – PG
Harris was the best passer in the gym and has a great feel for the game. He plays solid defense and had multiple steals which turned into fast break points for the Huskies. He also finishes well in transition and knocks down open three-pointers.
Evan Barber – Westmoore – G
Barber is a knockdown three-point shooter from anywhere behind-the-arc. He plays with confidence and is scrappy on the defensive end of the floor. This is a prospect to watch going forward as he is only a freshman.
Abraham Aghasedo – Edmond North – F
Aghasedo is a monster in the low post and is extremely strong. He is also a great rebounder and can finish through contact.
Matthew Mussett – Westmoore – G
Mussett is a 3-and-D guard that has a high basketball IQ. He knocks down open three-pointers, takes care of the ball, and has great hands on defense.
Dalante Shannon – Edmond North – G
Shannon is a guard that is extremely athletic and finishes well around the rim. He is also a good passer and handles the ball well. Shannon’s great game was highlighted by an alley-oop dunk set up beautifully by Landry Harris.
Joell Wilson – Edmond North – G
Wilson provides a spark off the bench for the Huskies and has a good motor. He is a good shooter from behind-the-arc and also finishes well in transition.
David Owusu – Westmoore – G
Owusu is a great three-point shooter who puts up points in bunches. He has great lateral quickness and does not get beat much on defense. He was the best player on the floor for the Jaguars.
