Here is a list of 10 players who should strongly be considered for the All-Met First Team. Check out this list from before the season and see how it compares to the current list.
JAMAL BARNES | SSSAS ’20
Barnes has been a huge part of the Saints’ success this season. He has been a reliable scoring option but is also getting the job done defensively.
YURI COVINGTON | NATIONAL CHRISTIAN ’20
Covington has been rock-solid in his first year playing for Coach Trevor Brown. The explosive lefty guard is scoring at will and has consistently contributed to his team’s 7-1 start.
COREY DYCHES | POTOMAC (MD) ’20
Dyches has a legitimate chance to be named First Team All-Met for football and basketball. The Wolverines are looking legit and he’s been their engine.
LANDON HAWES | POTOMAC FALLS ’20
Hawes has casually put up 30+ points multiple times this season and is averaging 24 points per game with impressive peripheral stats. He’s making guys around him better and is looking like one of the favorites to make this list.
DELONNIE HUNT | ROCK CREEK CHRISTIAN ’20
Hunt is the heart and soul of this Rock Creek team. He’s competed defensively while running the offense efficiently and scoring when he needs to.
TREVOR KEELS | PAUL VI ’21
The reigning co-WCAC player of the year is playing at a very high-level once again. Keels has been able to deliver the goods when his team has needed him most.

ISHMAEL LEGGETT | ST. JOHN’S 20
Leggett has been a great leader for this SJC group. The work he has put in is showing and his effort is contagious among his teammates.
COLIN SMALLS | ST. ANDREW’S ’20
Smalls has been the most consistent player on a dangerous St. Andrew’s team. He’s set the tone with his defense and has upped his scoring numbers significantly.

EARL TIMBERLAKE | DEMATHA ’20
Timberlake has carried the momentum he built over the summer with him into his senior campaign. He was recently named MVP of the DeMatha Christmas Classic where he recorded a triple-double in the semifinals.
TERRANCE WILLIAMS | GONZAGA ’20
What more is there to say about Williams? He’s a walking 20-and-10 who has been super reliable for Coach Steve Turner for several years now.
