We are quickly approaching the midway point in teams' schedules for the 2019-20 season. With that being said, we've had a solid amount of time to evaluate how certain players are fitting into their team's systems. One market that has picked up significantly over the years is the transfer market. Players are constantly changing schools for better opportunities educationally or athletically. There are time where the move benefits them in every way, and then there are times where the decision to go to a different school and team doesn't work out as well. 

For this article, I'll take a look at the transfers in the Baltimore area from this season who have made instant impacts for their respective teams.

Julian Reese | St. Frances '21

It didn't shock me to see Reese quickly become a big part of the St. Frances attack. At 6-foot-9, the Panthers have been longing for an athletic big man with size who could disrupt shots defensively and finish efficiently around the rim. Reese's production thus far has exceeded my expectations. The aggression and confidence he is playing with mirrors a completely different player
