Region 9
With Dixie running the show down South as they are getting great play from Isaac Finlinson and Noah Lemke. They’re almost averaging 30 points combined on a balanced attacking Dixie squad. They’ve had a couple of close games in region play but they might end the regular season unscathed. Region 9 has some tough teams that would be bad 1st round match-ups for a lot of teams across the state.
Region 10
While Juan Diego is still in control they recently stubbed their toe against Cedar Valley. Talon Valdes has been playing well and consistent ball. Stansbury has a quality three-point shooter in Peyton Thevenot. Tooele picked up a much needed win against Stansbury where Justin Rodgers had 23 and 13. Cedar Valley looks to make a run as they gained some confidence beating a tough Juan Diego team at home.
Region 11
Region 11 is tough with Sky View and Ridgeline. Mason Flaslev is a true contender for Mr. Basketball. Sky View just run away with the hole thing. Ridgeline has a lot of players that can help them make a run in the playoffs. Kaden Cox is really starting to play some good basketball. Bear River and Mark Huber can shoot the ball. If they’re on they can shoot anyone out of the gym.
