Player of the Game:
Columbine – Garrett Rogers (Jr.) – Garrett came into the night averaging: 8.3 PPG, 3.6 APG, 1.7 RPG, 1.4 SPG to begin the season for the Rebels. He had a great game Saturday against Rangeview, he scored 17 points, connecting on five of five from long distance. Garrett would follow that performance up with an even better one on Monday night, scoring a season high 24 points, and effecting the game in every way. After hitting a few threes, he would take his defender off the dribble for the nice mid-range shot, as well as cutting well without the ball. He does a nice job of relocating and finding the open spot on the perimeter, and is ready to shoot when the kick out comes his way. He is shooting 12/24 on the year from behind the arc, his 8.3 PPG is second on the team, it will be fun to see how he continues his strong play going forward.
