Bedford North Lawrence: vs Edgewood 1/25/20
Brayton Bailey – 2020 PG/SG: Bailey had, yet again, another great game only this time having a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Most of his points came from the inside but he did show off a pullup 3 this game. Even thought BNL as a team has not had the best of season, Bailey has continue to play excellent throughout. The senior is making the most out of his senior season.
Ben Cosner – 6’3 2021 W/F: This SF had arguably his best game of the year. He had 18 points half of those points came from 3 catch-and-shoot 3s. It seems like Cosner has consistently improved each week as his offense has come a long way since the start of the season. His shot selection is smart and I expect him to continue his string of excellent play.
Kooper Staley – 6’0 2021 SG: Staley did not exactly have the best of shooting night as he only hit two 3s. What is great about this shooter is that he is smart enough to find other ways to get involved when his shot is not falling. Had 7 rebounds and steal that led to a huge bucket on the other end from his teammate. Staley is a creative player.
Jackson Miracle – 6’4 2021 PF: Miracle just seemed to be a right spot at the right time in this game. He ended up with 13 points with most of them coming from the post area. His points came from via a couple cuts to the rim and a couple putbacks. This long PF is a key factor for the Stars.
Colten Leach – 6’1 2023 G/F: Leach is such an important player for BNL with only being a freshman. Had a few rebounds and a couple of blocks that were huge for the Stars. He does not force anything and knows his role to a T. He is only going to get better during his high school career.
Edgewood: vs Bedford North Lawrence 1/25/20
Sam Kido – 5’6 2020 PG: Kido is a true floor general. He doesn’t force anything and he knows what he needs to do in order to contribute. Had nice catch-and-shoot 3 at the first half buzzer. Also had a few assets as well.
Derek Farkas – 6’0 2020 SG: Farkas has a pretty shot to his game. Even though his shot is nice, he did not have the best of shooting night as he only had 5 points. He also had a good right-handed layup. As long as he keeps shooting, he will be fine.
Trevor Taylor – 6’2 2021 SG: Taylor has played really well since his return to the court. This game in particular he was one of the best players on the court. He had 22 points and those came from his smooth shooting. Had a few catch-and-shoot 3s and nice 15ft jumper. Taylor has Edgewood playing well.
Coleman Sater – 6’4 2021 PF: Sater is one of the more aggressive players I have seen this year. He does a real good job driving to the rim and also had a good spin move that made for an easy bucket. He has a big frame and is so strong. His penetration to the rim is excellent. He finished with 10 points.
Parker Harrington – 6’4 2020 PF: This senior is a straight-up athlete that is an excellent shooter. He had 12 points and all of them came from behind the arc. Add in a couple rebounds and thunderous block, he had a good game. This prospect is huge factor for Edgewood.
