Silver Creek: vs Bloomington North 1/18/20
Trey Kaufman – 6’8 2021 PF: There was just no stopping Kaufman this game as North just did not have any size to matchup with him. Made a lot of buckets in the post along with a few And1s. He has smooth jumper for big as he splashed his only 3. Kaufman is an elite prospect.
Kooper Jacobi – 6’6 2021 SF: Jacobi plays so hard when he is on the court. His 15 footer is automatic and he had a few rebounds as well. Love watching him play because it just looks like the game comes easy to him. He continues to be a main factor for Silver Creek.
Bloomington North: vs Silver Creek 1/18/20
Jeremiah Blair – 6’5 2020 PF: Blair played pretty well this game. He posted up well and had a few rebounds and good cut to the rim. He just needs to work on his finishing as he misses too many bunnies. Dude is strong.
JaQualon Roberts – 6’5 2023 SF: Dude is a freak of an athlete. Had a thunderous dunk in a transition as well as a putback dunk that was beast like. Just needs to work on his jumper as that seems to rarely connect. One big fix is that he needs to square his body up before his shot gets off. He has got time to work on that however since he is only a freshman.
Bloomington South: vs Catholic Memorial 1/18/20
James Bomba – 6’5 2020 PF: Bomba’s offense was a little quiet this game but he did a couple of other good things. Had a few aggressive rebounds and did a great job in controlling the post area on defense. His best offensive highlight for me was his smooth catch-and-three. Bomba is as solid as they come.
Joseph Bomba – 6’4 2021 SF: The younger Bomba had himself a game. On offense he had a few catch-and-3s and fake pass that lead to him getting an And1. Also add in his aggressive rebounding, he just had an excellent night. Bomba is the secret weapon for South.
Orleans: vs Crawford County 1/17/20
Duncan King – 6’2 2020 SF: King had one of his best performances of the season so far. He had 3 rebounds and finished with 8 points on the night. King is a strong SF that uses it to his advantage in the post. One of his best plays of the night was a strong right-handed put-back. He is a key piece for the Bulldogs.
Crawford County: vs Orleans 1/17/20
Colton Nickelson – 6’4 2020 SF: Nickelson’s offense was pretty quiet this game as he only had 4 points. He did however have a couple of nice rebounds and big block. From watching him play, he looks like a hard-nosed SF that looks to drive and play in the post area. I expect a bounce-back game from him sooner than later.
