Samule Wilson – Tulsa Central – G
Wilson is a quick guard and is the best defender for his team. He is able to full-court press by himself and does not get beat. Wilson plays extremely tight on-ball defense and is able to force turnovers and draw charges.
Cam’Ron Silmon – Trinity Christian Cedar Hill – G
Silmon is a strong guard that plays the tightest defense possible without fouling. He excels at getting on-ball steals as well as taking charges. He also plays good off-ball defense and is a leader for the Tigers.
Ike Houston – Jenks – G
Houston is a guard with good size and plays the passing lanes extremely well. He uses his length and athleticism to intercept the opposing team’s passes and was able to turn these steals into points on the other end. He is also a capable shot-blocker as he has good size for a guard.
Tabry Shettron – Edmond Santa Fe – F
Shettron is a versatile defensive forward that is able to guard several positions. He is tall and lengthy enough to guard some centers or power forwards but also quick enough to stay with wings and some guards. Shettron plays excellent help-side defense and took several charges during the tournament. He was also able to block some shots.
Tyionn Cox – Tulsa Central – F
Cox is a great shot blocker who is extremely athletic and puts pressure on ball handlers as well as big men in the post. He is quick enough to play defense on guards on the perimeter and blocked some jump shots while on the perimeter. Cox’s best play of the tournament was definitely a highlight-reel block that he pinned to the backboard.
