#1 Trinity Christian (21-1): TCS has been outstanding and moved into the top spot after a big time win over VCA last week. TCS will face a challenge in their matchup with the Greenfield School with both teams being highly ranked in the state.
#2 Village Christian (18-5): The Knights bounced back with a win over NWT to secure the #2 spot after a loss to TCS. VCA will need to close out Conference play in a strong manner to secure their #2 spot for the tourney which could possibly lead to a rematch with TCS
#3 Freedom Christian (18-9): The Patriots have improved as the season has gone on and will have a chance to make a nice run in the state tourney just like last season. They are probably the tallest team in the city and have a nice variety of players that can score the ball well at any given moment.
#4 Northwood Temple (17-13): The Eagles started off the month hot on a 5 game winning streak, but would finish off struggling with a three game losing streak going into their game Friday night. Regardless they have some nice talent and will be a team that you don’t want to run into during the postseason.
#5 Cape Fear Christian (14-10): With recent wins over FCS and #3 ranked FCA, it looks like Cape Fear Christian will end conference play on a solid note. They are getting good play from their guards as well as having nice contributions from the Forwards on their squad.
#6 Fayetteville Academy (6-13): It’s been a tough season for the Eagles but that’s to be expected when you lose 4 out of 5 starters. They are a young group that can be good in the future as they have some nice 2022 prospects.
#7 New Life Christian (15-11): Another team that is very young but fights just about every time they step on then floor. They don’t have a ton of size but do a nice job of rebounding as a group.
#8 Fayetteville Christian (8-15): Although they haven’t had the best season, they aren’t a team that you will want to see when tournament time comes. They feature a nice amount of talent at the Forward spot and rebound well.
#9 Berean Baptist Academy: They feature a college prospect or two on their roster and have some young talent. They compete hard and are one of the more unselfish teams that you will see.
