Ma’Syn Howell 6’0 PG | Legacy School of Sports Science | Fr. PHTX50
Ma’Syn currently holds two D1 offers on the table. He is a solid point that has a high IQ both offensively and defensively. Plays with a ton of energy and gets after 50/50 balls. Can score from anywhere on the court by creating his own shot. Solid on-ball defender who reads his opponent well. He is averaging 7 points per game, 4 rebounds per game, and 4 assists per game.
Clovis McCain 6’7 PF | Texas City HS | Fr.
Clovis is a really solid prospect who does a little bit of everything as a freshman on Varsity. He plays his role very well. Sets solid screens. Boxes out every possession. He is still young and will improve in his skill set but he is very intriguing and has an impact when he’s in the game. He is averaging 4.3 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, 1 steal per game, and 1 block per game.
Orlando Horton Jr. 5’7 PG | Clear Falls HS | Fr. PHTX50 as seen in the picture
Orlando is having the most impactful season in the Greater Houston Area out of all the fresh faces. His play has led them to many wins. He is a crafty lead guard who is a tough assignment regardless of grade. Has great ball speed and will light you up from deep. He also gets a lot of quality paint touches to create for his teammates. Tenacious on-ball defender. A prospect who will bring W’s wherever he plays at. Big time motor and great fundamentals. He is leading his team in these three categories scoring with 15.7 points per game, dimes with 2.7 assists per game, and on-ball defense with 1.7 steals per game. He also pulls down 4.2 rebounds per game average.
Matthew Lewis 6’0 PG | Fort Bend Ridge Point HS | So.
Matthew doesn’t force much in his game patient with the ball in his hands always very controlled regardless of the pressure. Always is in the right spots on the floor on both sides of the ball. Plays the game with great energy. He is also good in off-ball situations and is never stagnant on the floor. Good defensive pressure and takes a lot of charges. He is averaging 9.2 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game for his team on the season.
Trealyn Porchia 6’5 F | Beaumont United | Fr. PHTX50
Tre is like a ball full of energy defensively as he is able to guard everyone on the floor. Super active hands and alters a lot of shots, his shot-blocking will go up as he matures on the Varsity level over the years. Solid on the high and low post offensively. Has a nice handle on the ball as well. Only time will tell if he’s done growing in height. He has solid strength for a freshman also as he is also a football player. He is averaging on the season 7.3 points per game, 3 rebounds per game, and 1.1 steals per game.
