Lawrent Rice (Wayne)- Showing his calmness against a high level team. Did not succumb to intense pressure from a team that was loaded with D1 prospects. Not the most explosive scorer on Sunday but still a legitimate point guard.
Tyler Williams (Brush)- Came off the bench for Brush. Strong explosive legs with a great vertical leap. Lengthy enough to contest shots at the rim. Offensively posts up opponents in the paint and used his size to seal off defenders.
Alex Styles (Pickerington Central)- Extremely bouncy player for a freshman. Showed he was not afraid to rebound the ball against bigger opponents. Aggressive on the glass and held his own on both ends of the floor.
Gabe Cupps (Centerville)- Handled the pressure from Compass well. Moved around the perimeter with his dribbles and orchestrated offense. Tried to create offense with his jump shot. Not afraid to pull up from anywhere beyond the arc.
Rayvon Griffith (Taft)- Incredibly gifted athlete. Made plays on both ends of the floor. Used his length to be a dangerous rebounder. Strong with the basketball and able to score the ball from different levels. Extremely high ceiling.
