The Don Jackson Holiday Classic at Kalamazoo Central proved to be one of the best. We’ll take a look at the game results and the 10 best individual performances at the event.

Top 10 Performances
10:
Trae Knight (2021, F, Otsego)
Knight had 18 points in a big win over Melvindale. He was bouncy and active, especially around the rim. Knight’s feet hardly ever seemed to hit the floor.

Trevon Gunter (2020, CG, Kalamazoo Central)
Gunter had 16 points in a game that had a defensive feel to it. His toughness earned him most of his buckets.
8:
Jalen Terry (2020, PG, Flint Beecher)
Outside of an injury, his performance was typical. Terry was fast and explosive off the dribble. He ad 19 points on the night.
7:
Charles Woodhams (2020, SG, Otsego)
Woodhams scored 20 points in the win. He’s a solid shooter that can create and dish off the dribble drive.
6:
Danyel Bibbs (2020, G, Grand Rapids Union)
Bibbs was a stat sheet stuffer in a tight win over Hanover Horton. He had 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. Bibbs plays bigger than his height and needs to be ranked in the next class of 2020 prospect rankings update.

Luc Laketa (2020, G/F, Hanover Horton)
Laketa was one of the highest scorers at the event, notching 26 points. His versatility and defense make him a really high level prospect.

Carlos Johnson (2020, SF, Benton Harbor)
There’s a reason that he’s one of the favorites for Michigan’s Mr. Basketball. He had an event high of 32 points in a loss to Flint Beecher. He kept his team in the game and gave them a fighters chance.

Blake Wesley (2021, SG, South Bend Riley)
Wesley scored just shy of half his team’s points, with 25 total. He’s a top 100 player nationally and it was clear why. Wesley’s versatility on defense stood out.

Jeremiah Pittman (2020, G, Grand Rapids Union)
Pittman had a double-double in a close victory. He had 24 points and 12 rebounds. Pittman attacked the glass from the perimeter and attacked the rim with a quick first step.

Earnest Sanders (2020, G, Flint Beecher)
Sanders carried his Flint Beecher squad to a win over Benton Harbor. He had 28 points, attacking the bucket and finishing above the rim. Sanders looked like the elite athlete that he is and showed outstanding body control when getting to the bucket.
