In the prep game, it helps to have guards who can do more than one thing. When you have a good combo guard, he can take the pressure off of other players because they can handle multiple things. In this Best I Have Seen edition, I will look at some of the best combo guards I have seen play thus far. These players can get it done in multiple spots and positions on the floor.

   1.  Elijah Tate (2020/Madison Prep) - When I think of combo guards, for some reason Tate is the first one that comes to mind.  Elijah is already an elite defender and has shown that multiple times.  This season he has added some point guard duties and become a better play maker in the half court.  The ULM signee has developed his game so much that now he rarely leaves the floor.  Tate has improved his outside shooting also while maintaining his high level defense and his ability to slash to the rack.  He has plenty of responsibility but that has not stopped him from being the best player he can be.  (pictured above)
