Scotland Christian Junior Guard Brodie Clark put up monster numbers once again with 38 Points against Liberty Christian. Clark has been impressive over the past few years and is gaining the attention of college coaches.
Clayton HS Senior G/F BJ Freeman went for 29 Points in a big win vs Enloe HS this weekend. Freeman has gotten offers and interest from MM+ schools and rightfully so as he’s showing this year with his standout play. Clayton will look to Freeman to lead the way as they look to make a deep run in the 3A playoffs.
Village Christian Senior Guard Zavian Mclean went for another 30 point performance as he went for 31 against Fayetteville Christian in a conference matchup. Mclean has all the tools to be a special player not only in high school but on the collegiate level as well.
First Flight HS Senior Guard Dylan Blake has reached 2,000 Points and counting as he went for 42 points vs Bertie HS on Friday night. Blake is still under recruited which is a shock to us as he will he a player that can contribute to a college early on. His game has expanded each year and it should be noted that he’s putting up this numbers while facing all types of defensive pressure.
Purnell Swett Senior G/F Xavier Jones put up monster numbers in their win on MLK Day. The Senior dropped 31 points and pulled down 30 rebounds to help lead his team to a win. JCs around the state have already showing interest in him as his stock continues to rise.
West Brunswick HS Senior G/F Jadyn Parker went for 24 Points in their matchup with Wayne Country Day. Parker has turned the corner this season with his production, playing the PG for his squad. Fans at UNF should be excited about what he can possibly be, he has tremendous upside and has made huge strides since we first saw him as a sophomore.
