I was treated to a thrilling matchup between the Dickinson Gators and Allen Eagles in the championship game of the In-N-Out Burger Allen Holiday Invitational. Dickinson got out to an early 18-3 lead midway through the first quarter and looked like they were going to run away with the game, but Allen came charging back in the second half and even took the lead for a short duration of the fourth quarter. That said, the Gators managed to once again find their rhythm and ultimately shut the door on the Eagles' comeback attempt, winning by a score of 69-66 to capture the championship trophy in the gold division of the tournament.

Dickinson's Big 3 is Legit

The Gators big three of seniors play extremely well in unison. Tramon Mark, Marcus Williams, and Deuce Guidry's individual styles of play complement one another perfectly. Their ability to attack opponents from all three levels is a beautiful sight to behold. Williams and Guidry shoot the three at a very solid clip, while also being able to score inside.
